Creating Shine - Tutorial

This is NOT a step-by-step of how to shine the horse itself,

but rather, I try to explain my technique and how I think when I draw inside lineart. I also explain each action I do in SAI 2 and how to use the layers like I do for this example.

But this can probably apply in other programs if you already know how to use layer masks and clipping groups.


I have also included the horse psd, that has the lineart and base color layer so that you can download it and practice making the shine layers in it.
